It has been reported that the new Microsoft Vista operating system will be offered as a download at the end of the month. I anticipate network lags, (slow) connection problems and ISP server overloads with people from around the world trying to download the whole operating system at the same time. Internet Service Providers (ISPs) better be prepared for this!
Curious to see how this event will unfold and how it’ll effect everyone globally. Microsoft support staff will probably be working overtime when it is released. Techzoogle reported how it would offer extra options as well like Windows Anytime Upgrade, Family Discounts and Online Marketplace “claiming to give customers more flexibility when using the new operating system”.
Those loving it would probably be the computer techs out there (e.g. Geek Squad) that could potentially be called out to fix problems. They’ll be laughing all the way to the bank. Just my 2 cents.

I actually rejected Windows XP until two years ago. I forsee myself rejecting Vista at least as long. These things need to get the bugs worked out before I’ll put some faith in it. For me, Windows XP works like a charm, and I don’t have to upgrade to use it. So I’m sticking with what works.
