You’ve got to be a cat person to appreciate this one. I nearly fell off my chair laughing when I saw it on Janet’s site.
What makes it so funny is how accurately the animator has portrayed a cat. Miles does exactly this down to the scratching, pawing on the face and nudging. If he could wake me up with a baseball bat, he would probably try it too. THIS is what I go through every morning in addition to him trying to knock something off the bedside table to wake me up. It’s a lucky thing he is so lovable.
5 stars for the person that made this video and starting off my week with a laugh.

Hahaha this is so cute! I actually got it in an e-mail this morning, too. Everyone in my office loved it :).

Thanks for the shout out Mel. I know that Miles has to be much better behaved than this. BTW, The director is Simon Tofield of Tandem Films.

@Janet
well Miles is good most of the time, except for the mornings — he disturbs us (just like in the video) as if to say “common, stop sleeping, it is time… so feed me now please”. i’ve actually woken up with light scratches on my cheek from his pawing. actually he does it mostly to me as i’m the one that feeds him in the morning. there are times where he just needs some attention too and he does it too. just a spoilt cat!

This is my cat! Right now he is sitting on my lap and purrs, but tomorrow morning he’s back in action. I wrote a post about my tomcat’s ever-morning-wake-up-call. Cats are the nicest, cutest and meanst creatures on our planet!

i hear you! they are the cutest creatures but can be so mischievous. And they know they can get away with it because they are cute. never thought i’ll say this as i loved dogs before. now, i will never trade my cat for anything.
