Funny how one just thinks of something random at the most unlikely of places and times. Well, I was in the shower and this question just came to me…

What does M&M (as in the chocolate) stand for?

Looking on the web, it stands for Murrie and Mars. Murrie being Bruce Murrie, the son of the president of Hersheys Chocolates who put up his own money to invest in a new brand of chocolate and the other “M” is Mars — whom he had a join venture with to develop the idea. Amazing what you can find out on the internet.

   I learn something new every time I come here. It’s been forever, I’ve been out of commission for nearly two weeks, and am so glad to be back. But, that said, I think I’m going to have to go out and get some M&M’s now. ;)
