It is normal to have a lot of snow here in Ohio. Yesterday morning, I had an appointment to make and had parked across the street as the parking lot (at the building I was suppose to go to) was full. While walking there, I had sidestepped to avoid a pile of snow only to feel myself sinking into a snow covered puddle. Never would I have been able to avoid it as the thin sheet of ice and snow covering the hole just made it look like part of the pavement.

Not particularly sure how deep the hole was, but it was certainly deep enough to fit almost half of my left leg. So here I was going through the day with half a side of muddy/ wet jeans, damp shoes and socks. I hated the feeling of damp soggy socks especially wearing it for that long (almost 3/4 of the day). Reminded me of the movie Groundhog Day when Bill Murray steps into that puddle and gets a muddy/wet left side (or was it the right side?).

Note to myself: put a pair of jeans, extra socks and shoes in my trunk just in case this happens again.
