Just launched a site called Buy My Stuff! It is basically a little store for selling things from around the house that we don’t need anymore. Yes, it is going to be cheaply priced - think about it like an online garage sale and somewhat cheaper than Ebay. You may have noticed a little teaser page curl I made on the top left hand corner of this blog’s home page - that is where it leads to. Here is a direct link.
Sorry for the lack of items on the site. I’ll be slowly updating my inventory and will post updated news about it here. So be sure to check back regularly!
Recently Added: Due to browser incompatibility, I have taken off the flash teaser.

Haha, cool idea. I need to do a bit of cleaning out of my stuff but since I’veonly been living here for a year and a half I think that my things are not worthy of being sold. For example, old make-up, stinky perfumes etc. Good luck with it!
The flash corner doesn’t work for me. I had flashblock enabled and I cliked play, it gave me a square of your buy my stuff page, then I put you on the allo list for flashblock and now it’s a white square that doesn’t do anything… Is it just me? Oh, it says “movie not loaded” when I right click I’ll try it back on your homepage.

Nope, just get the whole square with the site preview, no roll down corner.

yes, i have too much stuff around the house that is not worth throwing as it is still pretty good and in good shape. not really going to make a profit (and not looking to make one either), that’s why i am selling it for cheap. someone else’s junk may be someone else’s jewels ;-)
hmmm… i tried it out on browsershots.org and it seems to look fine with all operating systems except for a linux firefox 1.0.8 (which didn’t have the flash plugin) see http://browsershots.org/websit.....m/#success
is there another computer you can look at it on - i am curious to hear of the outcome. it did work fine on J’s computer but she is using IE6 and winxp pro.
if anyone else has a problem seeing the flash - do let me know.

ahhh I take it back… it seems that it doesn’t work on the new versions of linux (namely
Konqueror 3.5.4 on Debian Etch Linux and Opera 9.01 on Ubuntu Dapper). Seems that the problem lies in how flash is seen in linux.
