The King James “resigned” for the Cavaliers today. I must say that he is a “true” professional and man of his word. Very rarely will you see a “superstar” of his nature that puts family over fame especially one this young. He is a man mature beyond his years and a true “Ohioan”. Yes he gets $80 million dollars but money is not the most important thing to him. Everywhere he goes, he knows he has the earning power to earn that much or even more (i.e. with sponsors etc.) but being near his famly, friends and playing in his “hometown” is priceless and he know it. You don’t get many chances to do that. It is great for Cleveland, great for their fans, we need this after years of heartache on the sports circuit. As a heavy Cavaliers fan, it is great to have something to look forward to and cheer - we’ll savor it, we don’t get many chances like that! Jim Thome, Manny Ramirez, Carlos Loozer Boozer, Albert Belle … you have to learn from this young man i.e. learn about loyalty, “the grass is not always greener on the other side” and that money isn’t everything.

Nicely put! Thome, Ramirez, Boozer and Belle would have to learn some humility. Good things are going to happen in Cleveland!
