What’s going on? Every Google blog I go on doesn’t allow me to put my name & website in the comments area. I now only have options to put my Google username/ password, to put a Nickname and to post Anonymously (see pic below). There used to be an area for external websites too.

Did they set their comments that way and it is a coincidence that about over 10 blogs of my daily reads show the same thing?

OR

Did Google change their default comment setting option and the blog owners don’t know about it?

Curious to what’s going on here. Appreciate any comments relating to this.
