Whenever you are sad, down or when times are bad, just remember that there will always be happiness in the future (no matter how distant it may seem). Be comforted in the fact that the Happy Carlton in you will eventually prevail and that someday you’ll be able to do that happy dance too.

I am waiting for the day I can do my happy dance.

In my house, I am Carlton. Mrs.Write thinks it’s cute (thankfully).

But what’s really funny is, at summer camp, KidWrite’s cabin did a Fresh Prince skit and he played the Carlton role because all he had to do was imitate me!

I have always loved Carlton’s exuberance. We should always be able to let loose like that (luckily I do it in my head so no one has to witness it!)

I remember seeing that episode! It doesn’t matter how bad a day you’re having. You can’t help but smile when you watch that!

I love the Fresh Prince. I miss it. Sometimes I will catch it on Nick at Night or something like that. It is sort of like the comfort food of TV for me. Nostalgia.

Definitely words of wisdom whenever we feel down.

However, when I think of a happy dance, I always think of Bill Crosby’s happy dance from The Crosby Show (for those of you old enough to remember it)years ago.

He always had this smirk smile on his face and groovy moves which will sure put today’s Beyonce to shame! :thumbdown_tb:
