Here it is, the wait it over! Thanks to Mr. Fab of Pointless Drivel for writing this mystery guest post - even if it did cost me new sports car, a luxury house in the Caribbean and other expensive stuff to get him to write it ;-).

Why The Foo Logs is the only blog you’ll ever need…
You are, of course, familiar with the old adage “Those who do not learn from history are condemned to repeat it.”
I am too lazy to research who actually said it, but I’m pretty sure it was spoken by an older and wiser Wile E. Coyote at his retirement dinner.
It may be that at the time he was wistfully recalling his failure to join the computer age. For if Wile E. had gotten online and had access to The Foo Logs, that roadrunner would have been roadkill a long time ago.
But that is far from the only example. One needs only to thumb through the pages of history to uncover numerous cautionary tales involving those who chose to ignore or discount the sage guidance and advice of The Foo Logs:

Has anyone noticed that there seems to be an unusual amount of activity among the senators lately? They certainly do seem preoccupied with something. I have seen a lot of them huddled together and speaking in hushed tones. I wonder what schemes are being hatched. If I were Caesar, I would try to keep a low profile, maybe take a well-earned vacation, until things calm down a bit. Maybe take a cruise; that might be just the ticket. Rome will still be here when he gets back. It might be best to let things settle down first.

Over in the southern Montana territory we understand that several tribes of the Sioux are getting together. Some say the occasion is a big summer festival, some say that a huge hunting expedition is being planned. Whatever the reason; Ogala, Cheyenne, and Hunkpapa Sioux all seem to be working together toward a common goal of some sort. Our latest information is that the 7th Cavalry is somewhere in that area. It might be best for them to steer clear so as not to interfere with the festivities.

Out of the Lincoln Division of Ford Motor Company comes word that plans have been introduced to manufacture a limousine with a bulletproof top. This car would replace the model that is currently being used as a presidential car in motorcades, parades, etc. We here at The Foo Logs applaud this decision and think it is long overdue in these increasingly dangerous times. We hope that the White House takes notice of this and will err on the side of caution during public appearances until such a vehicle can be built.

From Wall Street comes the announcement that Microsoft’s IPO will take place tomorrow. We here at The Foo Logs have been keeping an eye on this company, and we like the way it has positioned itself in the market. It seems like Microsoft just may be here to stay, and it may not be a bad idea to do a little investing tomorrow.

Word out of Hollywood is that there will be some bizarre new reality series involving way-below-the radar D-list “celebrities” Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie. We here at The Foo Logs keep our ears pretty low to the ground when it comes to entertainment news, and our advance word on these two, particularly Hilton, is that they are essentially no-talent airheads. We urge the viewing public not to watch their upcoming show The Simple Life or pay attention to any coverage of the duo. If ignored, they will go away, and in six months we will forget we ever heard of them.
So there you have it, good citizens. Ignore The Foo Logs at your own peril. One day it just may save your life, make you a pile of dough, or help you avoid being overexposed to celebrities.
I never start the day with out my Foo. Do you?
I am going to open up my blog to accommodate guest posts more often as it just adds a different flavor. T from Recommended wrote one for me months ago but I didn’t pursue the idea further (until now).
I am proud to announce that I have already secured the services of a celebrity to write a guest post for me but you may have to check back to see who it is. Between his fee of a new sports car, a luxury house in the Caribbean and other expensive stuff, it has taken a longer time to secure his services ;-) . It will be posted on Monday.
Have a good weekend!
