Let’s welcome my Blog of the Week - The Island Life. This Hawaiian blog just makes me envious of the great beaches, clear blue water, warm weather, cool breezes and great scenery they have there instead of the cold and dreary weather here.

The blog is written by Local Girl, a Full-time Mommy, part-time Flight Attendant, occasional wife living a chaotic life in Hawaii. She is a regular reader of The Foo Logs as I am of hers too and I have to say that every time she puts up a Wordless Wednesday photo of Hawaii — I am extra jealous. LOL, rub it in why don’t you. Her flavorful blog comprises of posts of her family life and happenings in Hawaii’s main island. She also has adorable kids too in “Girlie Girl” (4 years old) and “Baby Bug” (11 month old baby).

So why don’t visit The Island Life, be sure to say The Foo sent you. I promise she’ll make you feel welcome and she’ll probably wish you a “Mele Kalikimaka” Hawaiian style.

P.S. Don’t forget to check out Girlie Girl’s cute letter to Santa while you are there.

A warm welcome to this week’s blog tenant: Apropos of Something.

“Apropos” means “To comment” (I actually had to look that up). Well, his flavorful title doesn’t just end there, his blog theme/design/ color is simply awesome and the whole blog (content wise) is full of interesting things I love (and grew up loving) - the geek stuff, the comics, the video games, the mixture of fun and humor. So from his Daily Life in a nutshell, the News Satire, the Apropos Comics, the Blickity-Blogs to the Web Slinging posts … this, to me, is one of the best personal blogs I have seen and come across.

There is no doubt how intellectual Jess (the blog author) is as you can just tell from the way he writes and the general feeling of how his blog is organized. He in fact somewhere on course to get his Political Science Ph.d major and is currently a Graduate teacher.

I have to admit, if The Foo Logs were to strive for a goal in where it wants to be - it would have to be this blog. I am truly in awe and I just can’t say enough good things about it. So don’t take my word for it - visit Apropos of Something… you’ll get lost in the world of wonder. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Please welcome this week’s renter: Jottings from Jersey.

Antoinette, the blog author is a married thirty something Jersey girl. She is also a Gemini, a good cook, determined, passionate, assertive (sometimes blunt/ harsh) but quiet most of the time. Oh yes, I can’t miss out the part that she is a cat lover too - which gives her extra bonus points. A diehard NASCAR Fan (which I’ll probably be next year when my fav. ex-F1 driver Juan Montoya starts racing), her blog is an interesting mixture of daily ups and downs with “a bit of memes and photos”. I take it she is an Earnhardt fan, which is also not a bad thing ;-).

So why don’t you pay Jottings from Jersey a visit - tell her that The Foo sent you … she might offer you some coffee, a drink or maybe some of that delicious good food she cooks.

I’m tina, also known as -t- from Recommended. This week I have the pleasure of hanging out with you and Foo at The Foo Logs. He has graciously invited me to prepare a guest post during my stay.

I’ve decided to post about my routine or rather the routine of my beloved laptop. Having played and worked with computers for several years I have experienced my share of crashes and loss of data. And I have learned that one thing cannot be repeated too many times: backup your data and protect your computer from malware and viruses. We all know it. But apparently some people think it’s a complicated and nasty task. I don’t think so.

So another week, another bunch of difficult choices. I did make the mistake of putting my blog out for rent before the labor day weekend and didn’t get to see some of the bids before it expired. Sorry!

I am however, glad to have Recommended as my “tenant” this week. I have had an opportunity to rent from her before and the blog happens to be one of my regular daily reads. Recommended is a classy, informative and interesting techie blog. Being a techie and “self confessed geek”, I find myself engrossed in most of the posts she puts out. Her posts varies from random discoveries, software recommendations and reviews, the latest technological trends, the latest tech toys to useful software utilities available for download. Being very familiar with her blog, it didn’t take me long (just a split second) to decide this as my Blog of the Week.

Pay Recommended a visit - you won’t be dissapointed!

Wow, this is probably the toughest decision of my “short” blogging life - to choose my weekly tenant. I had the most number of blogexplosion rental bids this week i.e. 16. They were all great blogs which made it that much harder to choose. So I’ll say this… if I didn’t choose you, I hope it wasn’t taken personally and please do bid again in the future.

Saying that, I would like to welcome this week’s tenant: Living with Multiple Personalities. The author Cat, is a mother of 2 from Colorado and her blog is about life, family, “her crazy neighbor”, movies, food and much more. In addition to her interesting style of writing/ content, she has a very appealing website where her professionally drawn “character” has an uncanny likeness to a Kim Powers style cartoon. I especially like the black cat as it reminds me of my own cute Miles. Welcome Cat, to The Foo Logs domain and hope you have a nice stay.

… why don’t you pay Cat a visit!

I would like everyone to welcome my blog “tenant” this week: This and That. The author, Kristarella, designs her own blog templates and hails from Sydney, Australia. She writes good articles ranging from movies, music, her church to life in general. Oh yes, she has a very “interesting” photoblog too and do check out her other theme using her “theme swap” function.

Fixing Foibles and Follies: A nice looking blog by Jonathan Shaw on “Emerging Internet trends, Alternative energy, Sustainable business and Oddities”. I must say that the blog title is pretty innovative indeed and is filled with interesting articles. It is no coincidence that this site becomes my “very first” Sponsored Blog of the Week.
